Born in Paris into a modest and bohemian family, Erik discovered his vocation as a house DJ at a very young age. Music is at the heart of his life, whether as a DJ for his audience or as a producer of timeless tech house tracks.

 

One of his standout moments is his remix of Bassment Jaxx's classic 'Jump N Shout', released by Toolroom Records. This track reached #1 on Beatport's Tech House chart and #2 on Beatport's overall chart. It is considered the anthem of the party in 2017 and has been played by DJs of all genres, from David Guetta to Paco Osuna.

 

Erik describes his musical style as 'happy underground', a new generation of house that combines the raw and gritty elements of a more underground sound with the positive energy of real house. Notable releases include DJ Wady & Patrick M – No Time For Hulk (Camelphat Re-Fix) (Erik Hagleton 2018 Vocal Edit) (CR2 Records), Aly-Us - Follow Me - Erik Hagleton rework (Strictly Rhythm) , Pressure (Toolroom records), widely appreciated, and Wolliner (Yellow Productions), chosen as Essential Tune by Pete Tong in November 2015.
